Our passenger information system support system has 4 main functions :
1. Monitoring of schedule compliance
We help public transport agencies to monitor their timetable adherence and to efficiently manage Service Interruption: Thanks to our decision support and geolocation solutions, real-time location data is collected and transmitted. The operator will therefore be able to optimize Service Interruption by deciding on the right corrective measures and adapt their journeys to the needs of the line (rescheduling, diversion, acceleration, deceleration, only one station out of two, etc.) – Our network is specified to allow the operator to be connected to the drivers.
2. Protection and Surveillance of workers
In order to contribute as much as possible to the protection of mobile operators, we act on the control of on-board systems inside buses or trains. This includes the visualization of video protection cameras, the triggering and control of ambient microphones and the retrieval of alerts. Through this remote control, the operator has full control of the parameters to decide on corrective actions, from the doubt removal to the intervention.
3. Real time information
Thanks to our Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) systems, operators have constant and clear real-time visibility of their vehicle fleet. After calculation, the location data can be sent directly to thetraveller information display systemslocated on the routes or proceed with personalized alerts (sending SMS, mails, site info, …). This allows passengers to know precisely the time of the next buses or trams on different media such as information displays and screens at stops, smartphones or the web.
4. On-Condition maintenance
Our role is to ensure the collection, recording and retransmission of on-board equipment, (operating hours, fault management, obsolescence, alerts…) Data is collected locally by LTE or WiFi networks. These networks feed an Enhanced Computing System.
